The Catawba County Partnership for Children is a local non-profit agency that is
dedicated to ensuring that all children, ages birth through five, have the resources
and the opportunities necessary for them to enter school healthy and ready to
succeed.

The Catawba County Partnership for Children is primarily funded by Smart Start, North Carolina’s nationally recognized early childhood initiative that was started in 1993 to ensure that every child in North Carolina arrives at school healthy, motivated and prepared for success.

This public-private initiative has become a new way of doing business for early
childhood education. It offers a comprehensive approach, not a single intervention,
to meet local needs.

The Catawba County Partnership for Children collaborates with many agencies across the county to work towards our goal of ensuring that children in our community enter kindergarten prepared for success!
