The Catawba County Partnership for
Children is a local non-profit agency that is
dedicated to ensuring that all children, ages birth through
five, have the resources
and the opportunities necessary for them to enter school
healthy and ready to
succeed.
The Catawba County Partnership for
Children is primarily funded by Smart Start, North
Carolina’s nationally recognized early childhood initiative
that was started in 1993 to ensure that every child in North
Carolina arrives at school healthy, motivated and prepared
for success.
This public-private initiative has
become a new way of doing business for early
childhood education. It offers a comprehensive approach, not a
single intervention,
to meet local needs.
The Catawba County Partnership for
Children collaborates with many agencies across the county
to work towards our goal of ensuring that children in our
community enter kindergarten prepared for success!
